Celebration of Cultures

We are proud to announce the 2026 Celebration of Cultures will be held on Saturday, September 19 on the grounds of the Cumberland County Playhouse. The staff and leadership of the playhouse have been so gracious and helpful. This year's celebration will be our largest ever! We expect to expand the scope of entertainment and music. The planning committee will be working on program planning and implementation during the next several months. We will need your help. Please join us in this exciting project. Upper Cumberland Diversity Advocates, inc. This is a 501(c)3 Tennessee nonprofit corporation founded to operate exclusively for non-partisan educational, charitable, and public benefit purposes. In accomplishing the mission, UCDA will use a variety of tools, including but not limited to:

  • Use of news and social media to promote diversity, inclusion, and equity in our community 

  • Sponsoring and promoting celebrations and public forums on diversity, inclusion, and equity ​

  • Developing and promoting presentations, both in-person and electronically, related to our mission

  • Advocation for acceptance and inclusion of minorities in our communities
